Known Circumstances:
Fulton County police are searching for a 13-year-old believed to have gone missing late Monday evening, according to a police report. Kiara Hodges was last seen in her College Park home at 9 p.m. before being reported missing by her mother, Telina Shelby. It is believed Hodges is in danger. "She left out of the house and witnesses say they saw a black, brand new pick-up truck stop near her," Shelby said. Shelby's oldest daughter, Kalani Shelby, was at home with Hodges when she went missing. According to the report, Kalani Shelby was feeding her baby when she decided to check on her sister. It is believed Hodges, a camper at World Changers Ministries, slipped out of the rear door of the house without anyone noticing. Telina Shelby said she and her family moved to College Park with a church member three weeks ago after losing their home in Peachtree City, adding that they are not familiar with the area. Hodges' mother told police she was an honor student, making A's and B's in school. Telina Shelby last saw her daughter at 10 a.m. on the day of her disappearance. If anyone has any information concerning Kiara Hodges' whereabouts, call Fulton County Detective T.N. Pritchett at 404-613-9134 or 404-317-9169. |

Missing Atlanta teenager has been found.
Police told Channel 2 Action News that 13-year-old Kiara Hodges turned up unharmed Saturday afternoon in Fayetteville.
She disappeared Monday night from her south Fulton County neighborhood near Old National Highway. She had been banned from Facebook until recently, her mother, Telina Shelby said just after her disappearance. The day she disappeared, her sister noticed an inappropriate conversation on her page.
Her family admitted when she went missing that she may have left, worried about how her mom would react. But they said too much time passed and they believed she was abducted. No one has given any details surrounding her disappearance since she has been located.

Police Search For Missing 13-Year-Old
ATLANTA -- The family of a missing teenager is making an emotional plea for help.
Kiara Hodges, 13, disappeared Monday night from her south Fulton County neighborhood.
Police said she may be a runaway, but her family is not convinced.
Police have patrolled the neighborhood where Hodges disappeared and have checked areas they know runaways often visit. Now that Hodges has been missing more than 24 hours, police said they will re-evaluate the case.
Her family said they have suspected foul play all along.
Hodges’ mother, Telina Shelby, is asking the public for help.
“No one has the right to touch a child and they have touched the wrong one,” said Shelby. “It’s not fair for them to take what is not theirs.”
Witnesses last saw Hodges around 10 p.m. Monday. Witnesses said they also noticed a new black truck driving up and down the neighborhood.

Police said they don’t know what to think about her disappearance.
“There is a possibility that the juvenile may have run away or been abducted, but we have no evidence of that at this time,” said Cpl. Kay Lester of the Fulton County Police Department.
Hodges had been banned from Facebook until recently, her mother said. The day she disappeared, her sister noticed an inappropriate conversation on her page.
“She told me that Kiara had been having unedifying, sexually explicit conversations with one of the guys on the Internet,” said her mother.
Her family admitted she may have left, worried about how her mom would react. But they said too much time has passed and they believe she was abducted.
