HFMC House Rules

Our house rules are to ensure everyone can get the most out of the HFMC threads, while being productive and helpful to the families or friends of those missing.

We reserve the right to remove messages which  

  • Are considered likely to disrupt, provoke, attack or offend others
  • Are racist, sexist, homophobic, sexually explicit, abusive or otherwise objectionable
  • Contain swear words or other language likely to offend
  • Break the law or condone or encourage unlawful activity. This includes breach of copyright, defamation and contempt of court.
  • Advertise products or services for profit or gain
  • Are seen to impersonate someone else
  • Include someones personal contact details such as phone numbers, postal or email addresses
  • Contain links to other websites which break our Guidelines
  • Describe or encourage activities which could endanger the safety or well-being of others
  •  Are considered to be ‘spam’, that is posts containing the same. or similar, message posted multiple times
  •  Are considered to be off-topic for the particular thread they are on. 

 

While HFMC welcomes postings on the threads please make sure your comments are in line with the above House Rules.

If you see anything posted on HFMC that concerns you please report that to us, active monitoring does take place but we can not guarantee to oversee every post that appears and rely on users to report anything outwith the guidelines we will always act swiftly on any reports received.

HFMC reserve the right to report or take action if deemed necessary against anyone abusing the system. HFMC reserves the right to edit, move or delete any message, or terminate membership, at any time, for any reason. 

Psychic predictions are not to be posted unless details are publicly released by or on the request of the family. The decision to ask for psychic assistance or associated services is a very private and personal choice for each family to make.

The contents of such services can cause upset and distress and may be harmful to the case if certain details are released without prior consent or consultation, therefore, the only exception to this rule will be if permission has been granted or general assistance from psychics or alternative mediums has been requested.

HFMC does not endorse the content of any comments or website linked to from our site,  

HFMC is not responsible for the content of any external sites.
